Educational Oversight inspection is for the benefit of learners and is intended to improve the quality and effectiveness of education by helping colleges build on their strengths and remedy any weaknesses. Private Further Education (PFE) providers must undergo inspection by an approved Educational Oversight inspection body. PFE, a division of the Independent Schools Inspectorate, has been authorised by the Home Office to inspect privately funded further education colleges and English language schools in England and Wales.
